  1. Attention Amiga Users.
  2.  
  3. It seems that after all our hard work, there are already pirate versions
  4. of the 3.1 operating system surfacing.  We have had folks call us for
  5. support that have purchased 3.1 kits from dealers.  As of this date, we
  6. have not shipped to any dealers.  After further investigation, it appears
  7. that the bogus kits include 6 disks with plain white labels with black
  8. text, and the necessary Eprom(s).  No manuals, no printed box, etc.

  10. The OFFICIAL, LICENSED version includes the following;
  11.  
  12. Box with printed sleeve detailing 3.1 enhancements, photos, etc..
  13.  
  14. 6 disks with professional labels (colored, commodore logos, etc)
  15.  
  16. 1 or 2 Eproms with official labels
  17.  
  18. 3 Printed manuals, bound, glossy covers -
  19.     a) AREXX manual
  20.     b) Workbench 3.1 manual
  21.     c) DOS 3.1 manual
  22.  
  23.  
  24. If your upgrade kit does not look like this or contain the above
  25. mentioned items, you do not have a legitimate version, and we WILL NOT
  26. offer any support.
